Ingredients

  • 1/2 apple, sliced
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 6 oz. chilled pinot noir
  • 1/2 cup cold apple cider
  • 2 tbsp grand marnier liqueur
  • 2 tsp pure maple syrup
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 orange wedge
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Place the apple slices and cinnamon stick in the bottom of a pitcher.
  2. Pour in the pinot noir, apple cider, grand marnier, and maple syrup, and stir to mix.
  3. Refrigerate the sangria for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  4. In a plate, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Rim the glass with an orange wedge and dip in the cinnamon sugar.
  6. Fill the glass with ice and pour the sangria over top, ensuring to include some of the fruit.
