Ingredients
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 2 tbsp coconut cream
- 2 tbsp coconut condensed milk
- 2 tbsp plant milk (such as almond milk)
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- a pinch of cinnamon
- a pinch of nutmeg
- 1 oz white rum
- 1/2 oz coconut rum
- 1/4 oz brandy or bourbon
Instructions
- Combine the coconut milk, coconut cream, coconut condensed milk, plant milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a blender.
- Blend the ingredients until smooth and well combined.
- Taste the mixture and adjust the flavors as needed, adding more spices or sweetener if desired.
- Add the white rum, coconut rum, and brandy to the blender.
- Blend briefly to incorporate the liquors into the mixture.
- Pour the coquito into a sealed bottle or jug, adding a cinnamon stick if desired.
- Chill the coquito in the refrigerator overnight or for at least 4 to 6 hours.
- Before serving, shake or stir the coquito to ensure all the ingredients are well mixed.
- Pour into glasses, garnish with a cinnamon stick and coconut flakes, and enjoy!
