Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. agave nectar
  • 1 tbsp. toasted shredded coconut
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup cream of coconut
  • 1/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 tbsp. sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 oz. dark or white rum
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, combine agave nectar and 1 tbsp. water. In another dish, place the toasted shredded coconut. Wet the rim of a cocktail glass with the agave mixture and then dip it in the toasted coconut. Let it stand for 10 minutes.
  2. In a blender, combine the ice, coconut milk, cream of coconut, evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, rum, vanilla extract, and nutmeg. Blend until smooth, frothy, and creamy.
  3. Pour the frappé into the prepared coconut-rimmed glass, sprinkle with cinnamon (if desired), and serve.
