Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz Basil Hayden(r) Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • Nutmeg, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Separate the eggs into yolks and whites.
  2. Beat the egg yolks until creamy.
  3. Gradually whip the sugar into the egg yolks.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until they form stiff peaks. Optionally, add 1/2 tbsp additional sugar while beating.
  5. Mix together the beaten egg yolks and Basil Hayden(r) Bourbon.
  6. Gently fold in the beaten egg whites into the yolk and bourbon mixture.
  7. In another bowl, beat the heavy cream until it thickens.
  8. Add the whipped heavy cream and milk to the egg and bourbon mixture.
  9. Stir in nutmeg to taste.
  10. Pour into a glass and garnish with a sprinkle of nutmeg on top.
