Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup frozen strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup
  • 1 1/3 oz light rum
  • Juice of 1/4 lime
  • 1 1/3 oz light rum
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup
  • 1/3 oz fresh lime juice
  • 2/3 cup ice
  • 1 1/3 oz light rum
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup
  • 1/3 oz lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon coconut extract
  • 2 drops blue food coloring
  • 2/3 cup ice

Instructions

  1. Combine frozen strawberries, simple syrup, 1 1/3 oz light rum, and lime juice in a blender, and blend until smooth. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and place it in the freezer.
  2. In the blender, combine 1 1/3 oz light rum, 2 tablespoons simple syrup, fresh lime juice, and ice. Blend until smooth, then pour into a freezer-safe container and freeze.
  3. Blend 1 1/3 oz light rum, 2 tablespoons simple syrup, lime juice, coconut extract, blue food coloring, and ice until smooth. Transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container and freeze.
  4. When ready to serve, spoon the strawberry layer into glasses, top with the lime layer, and finish with the blue coconut layer. Serve immediately.
