Foamy Bourbon Delight
A velvety Whiskey Sour featuring Evan Williams Single Barrel Bourbon, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and a small egg white, elegantly topped with a spray of Angostura bitters.
Ingredients
- 2 ounces Evan Williams Single Barrel Bourbon
- 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
- 3/4 ounce simple syrup (1:1, sugar:water)
- 1 small egg white
- 1 spray Angostura bitters
Instructions
- Combine the small egg white and lemon juice in a mixing tin and shake without ice (dry shake).
- Add the bourbon and simple syrup to the tin and add 5 Kold Draft cubes.
- Shake the mixture 20 times.
- Double strain the cocktail over ice into a rocks glass.
- Allow the egg white to separate and spray Angostura bitters on top of the foam.
- Express a lemon peel over the glass and garnish with the peel and a brandied cherry.
