Ingredients

  • 4 oz grapefruit juice
  • 2 oz freshly squeezed orange juice (I used Cara Cara)
  • 2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 oz agave syrup or simple syrup
  • 4 oz Blanco tequila
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1/2 teaspoon each salt, sugar, and Tajin, for glass rim
  • Grapefruit slice, for garnish
  • Mint sprig, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large measuring glass or pitcher, combine grapefruit juice, orange juice, lime juice, agave syrup, and Blanco tequila.
  2. Pour the mixture into ice cube molds and freeze until solid, for at least 4-6 hours.
  3. Transfer the frozen mixture into a high-power blender with 1 cup of ice. Blend until smooth and frothy, about 30 seconds.
  4. On a small plate, mix salt, sugar, and Tajin. Run the edge of the glass with a grapefruit slice and dip the glass edge into the mixture.
  5. Pour the slushee mixture into a glass. Garnish with a grapefruit slice and a mint sprig.
