Ingredients

  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1.30 oz gin
  • 0.30 oz falernum
  • 0.30 oz dry curaçao
  • 0.30 oz honey
  • a pinch of salt
  • 2 cups ice
  • 0.80 oz Angostura bitters (divided)
  • fresh mint (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a sealable jar, combine lime juice, gin, falernum, dry curaçao, honey, and salt. Place in the freezer to chill for at least one hour.
  2. When ready to serve, add 2-3 mint leaves to the bottom of a serving glass.
  3. Transfer the chilled cocktail to a blender along with 2 cups of ice. Blend until smooth.
  4. Pour the blended mixture into the serving glass over the mint leaves.
  5. Top the cocktail with about 0.8 oz of Angostura bitters and a few fresh mint leaves. Serve with a straw.
