Ginger Hibiscus Zing Martini
A refreshing martini variation with ginger, hibiscus, lemon, gin, and white vermouth, perfect for warm weather sipping.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup water
- 0.25 ounces dried hibiscus
- 1 tablespoon agave nectar
- 1.50 ounces hibiscus tea
- 1.50 ounces fresh Meyer (or other) lemon juice
- 6 slices fresh ginger
- Ice
- 1.50 ounces gin
- 1.50 ounces white vermouth
- Lemon twists, for garnish
Instructions
- Boil water and steep hibiscus until cool, then sweeten with agave nectar.
- Muddle the sliced ginger with the hibiscus tea and fresh lemon juice in a cocktail shaker.
- Add ice, gin, and vermouth to the shaker.
- Shake vigorously.
- Strain into a martini glass and add a lemon twist for garnish.
