Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup water
  • 0.25 ounces dried hibiscus
  • 1 tablespoon agave nectar
  • 1.50 ounces hibiscus tea
  • 1.50 ounces fresh Meyer (or other) lemon juice
  • 6 slices fresh ginger
  • Ice
  • 1.50 ounces gin
  • 1.50 ounces white vermouth
  • Lemon twists, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil water and steep hibiscus until cool, then sweeten with agave nectar.
  2. Muddle the sliced ginger with the hibiscus tea and fresh lemon juice in a cocktail shaker.
  3. Add ice, gin, and vermouth to the shaker.
  4. Shake vigorously.
  5. Strain into a martini glass and add a lemon twist for garnish.
