Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup cream of coconut
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground star anise
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
  • a pinch of ground cloves
  • 1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon star anise extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1 oz Barbancourt rum
  • freshly grated nutmeg for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, cream of coconut, star anise, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, vanilla extract, star anise extract, and lime juice.
  2. Blend the mixture until well combined.
  3. Add the rum to the blender and blend until thoroughly mixed.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a glass bottle and refrigerate for several hours until chilled.
  5. When serving, pour the drink into glasses and garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.
