Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp C&H(r) Golden Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup C&H(r) Organic Raw Cane Sugar
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 small apple, sliced
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp fresh grated ginger
  • 2 tbsp C&H(r) Organic Raw Cane Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 to 4 oz vodka
  • 2 oz ginger liqueur
  • 1/2 cup apple cider
  • Ice, crushed or cubed
  • Thin-sliced apple and/or fresh rosemary sprigs, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine C&H(r) Golden Brown Sugar, 1/4 cup C&H(r) Organic Raw Cane Sugar, water, apple slices, 1 tsp cinnamon, and fresh ginger. Heat over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, for about 20-30 minutes or until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is slightly syrupy.
  2. Remove from heat and set aside to cool completely, then strain into an airtight container. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  3. In a small shallow bowl, stir together 2 tbsp C&H(r) Organic Raw Cane Sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon until well combined.
  4. Dip the rims of a cocktail glass in apple cider or water, then dip and roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat.
  5. In a large cup or cocktail shaker, stir together ice, vodka, ginger liqueur, 2 oz of the cooled apple spice simple syrup, and apple cider.
  6. Strain the mixture between the prepared cocktail glass, add ice as desired.
  7. Garnish with apple slices and rosemary sprigs, if desired.
