Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz. Calvados (apple brandy)
  • 1 oz. fresh blood orange juice
  • 3/4 oz. amaro (preferably Montenegro)
  • 1/2 oz. maraschino liqueur (preferably Luxardo)
  • 1/2 oz. rye whiskey
  • 2 dashes orange bitters
  • 1 Amarena cherry for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the Calvados, blood orange juice, amaro, maraschino liqueur, rye whiskey, and orange bitters in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake the ingredients vigorously.
  3. Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe glass.
