Ingredients
- 1/3 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup whiskey
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1-2 teaspoons hot chocolate powder
- 1/4 teaspoon instant espresso or coffee powder
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine 3 tablespoons of milk with the cornstarch until smooth.
- Add enough milk to make up a cup, then heat over medium, stirring constantly until very thick and bubbling.
- Remove from heat and scrape the thickened milk into a blender.
- Add the sweetened condensed milk, whiskey, vanilla, 1 tablespoon of hot chocolate powder, and the espresso powder.
- Blend until mixed and adjust the flavor by adding more hot chocolate powder if desired.
- Pour the mixture into a container with a tight-fitting lid, refrigerate until serving.
