Ingredients
- 1 large egg yolk
- 2 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- 2 tbsp whole milk
- 1/4 cup half and half
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp Spiced Rum
- 2 tbsp Brandy
- 2 tbsp Bourbon
- a pinch of nutmeg
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk the egg yolk and sugar until thick and pale.
- Combine the heavy cream, whole milk, half and half, vanilla extract, spiced rum, brandy, and bourbon in a separate container.
- Slowly pour the liquid into the egg mixture while whisking on low speed, then increase to medium-low until just combined.
- Scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl to ensure everything is well mixed.
- Stir in a pinch of nutmeg.
- Pour the eggnog into a glass and refrigerate for at least two weeks before serving.
