Mandarin Mimosa Slushies

Mandarin Mimosa Slushies
A delightful and refreshing frozen cocktail with a blend of orange and mandarin flavors, perfect for hot summer days.
Ingredients
- 1 can (12 oz.) of Canada Dry Mandarin Orange Seltzer water
- 3 cups of orange juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1 bottle of champagne or sparkling wine
Instructions
- Combine 1/2 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of water, then heat in the microwave until it boils (approximately 1 1/2 minutes). Stir and set aside to cool.
- Squeeze half a lemon for about a tablespoon of lemon juice.
- In an 8 x 8 pan, mix together lemon juice, 3 cups of orange juice, the simple syrup, and 1 can of Canada Dry Mandarin Orange Seltzer Water. Ensure the mixture is well combined.
- Place the mixture in the freezer.
- Stir or break up the granita with a fork every 30 minutes for the first hour.
- After 2 hours, break up the granita with a fork again.
- At the 3-hour mark, the granita is ready to serve.
- Add about 1/2 cup of granita to a glass, then pour champagne or sparkling wine over it and serve.
