Ingredients

  • 5 oz Rosé Wine
  • 1 cup Watermelon Cubes, seedless
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Water

Instructions

  1. Pour the rosé wine into an ice cube tray and freeze until firm, for at least 6 hours; the cubes will still have a slightly icy texture.
  2. Cube the seedless watermelon and freeze on a parchment paper-lined sheet pan until firm, for at least 4 hours.
  3. Once frozen, transfer the wine and watermelon cubes to a plastic bag and freeze for up to a month.
  4. Create the simple syrup by combining sugar and water, then heat on the stovetop or in the microwave until the sugar dissolves.
  5. When ready to serve, blend the frozen wine and watermelon in a blender until smooth, allowing them to defrost at room temperature for a few minutes if needed.
  6. Gradually add the simple syrup while tasting, adjusting the sweetness to your preference.
