Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 cup chopped rhubarb
- 2 oz vodka
- 2 oz rhubarb syrup
- 1 rhubarb stalk
- 1 oz advocaat
- 2.50 oz lemonade
Instructions
- In a saucepan, heat the sugar with water until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the chopped rhubarb, cover, and simmer until tender.
- Strain the mixture and boil until syrupy to make the rhubarb syrup.
- Chill a cocktail glass with ice.
- Shake the vodka and 2 oz of rhubarb syrup with ice.
- Peel small shreds of rhubarb and place them in iced water to curl.
- Whisk together the advocaat and lemonade with ice in a separate jug.
- Divide the vodka and rhubarb mixture between glasses, straining through a sieve.
- Carefully pour the advocaat mixture into each glass over an upsidedown spoon.
- Drain the rhubarb shreds and use them to garnish the cocktails.
