Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 1 strip of lemon zest (about 1-inch wide)
  • 1/2 very ripe pear
  • Dash of lemon juice
  • 1 oz pear vodka
  • 1 oz unflavored vodka
  • 2 tablespoons pear puree
  • 2 tablespoons rosemary syrup
  • 2 tablespoons prosecco or sparkling wine
  • Ice
  • Rosemary sprig for garnish

Instructions

  1. Create the rosemary simple syrup by dissolving sugar in water over medium-high heat, then steeping with rosemary and lemon zest.
  2. Blend the very ripe pear into a smooth puree with a splash of lemon juice.
  3. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine both vodkas, pear puree, and rosemary syrup. Shake until well chilled.
  4. Strain the mixture into a large martini glass.
