Ingredients

  • 6 strawberries, hulled and coarsely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 oz citrus vodka
  • 3/4 oz fresh lime juice
  • Ice
  • 1 tablespoon chilled Riesling

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the strawberries with sugar and let sit for 10 minutes to release their juices.
  2. In a blender, combine half of the strawberries, their juices, vodka, lime juice, and 1 cup of ice. Blend until smooth, then pour into a pitcher. Repeat with the remaining strawberries, juices, vodka, lime juice, and 1 cup of ice.
  3. Fill a Collins glass halfway with ice. Pour the cocktail into the glass.
  4. Top each glass with about 1/2 tablespoon of Riesling and serve.
