Ingredients
- 1 oz. rye whiskey
- 1/2 oz. aged rum
- 1/2 oz. Braulio
- 1 tsp. demerara syrup
- 3 dashes Peychaud's bitters
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- 1/2 tsp. absinthe
- Lemon twist, for garnish
Instructions
- Chill a Gibraltar or rocks glass and rinse it with absinthe, then discard the excess.
- In a mixing glass with ice, combine rye whiskey, aged rum, Braulio, demerara syrup, Peychaud's bitters, and Angostura bitters. Stir for 20-30 seconds until chilled.
- Strain the mixture into the chilled glass and garnish with a lemon twist.
