Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup whiskey
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tsp. hot chocolate powder
  • 1/4 tsp. instant espresso or coffee powder

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, mix 3 tablespoons of milk with the cornstarch until smooth.
  2. Add enough milk to make up 1 cup, then heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick and bubbling. Remove from heat and scrape into a blender.
  3. Add sweetened condensed milk, whiskey, vanilla, 1 tablespoon of hot chocolate powder, and espresso powder to the blender.
  4. Blend until smooth, then adjust the flavor by adding more hot chocolate powder if desired.
  5. Pour the mixture into a container with a tight-fitting lid, refrigerate until serving.
