The Slow Burn Snail is a unique cocktail that combines the warmth of fresh ginger and cinnamon with the refreshing notes of aperitivo, rye whiskey, and lime juice, creating a drink that encourages slow sipping and lingering enjoyment.
Ingredients
- 3 slices of ginger, muddled
- 1/2 ounce of ginger simple syrup
- 1 ounce of rye whiskey
- 1 ounce of aperitivo (Bordiga or Aperol)
- 1/2 ounce of lime juice
- 1/2 ounce of egg white
Instructions
- Muddle the ginger slices and add them to a shaker with ice.
- Pour in the ginger simple syrup, rye whiskey, aperitivo, lime juice, and egg white.
- Shake the ingredients well for about 30 seconds.
- Strain the mixture into a Martini glass.
