A refreshing and comforting cocktail with ginger, rye whiskey, aperitivo, and a hint of cinnamon, inspired by the slow savoring concept of Osteria Lumaca.
Ingredients
- 3 slices ginger, muddled
- 1/2 oz ginger simple syrup
- 1 oz rye whiskey
- 1 oz aperitivo (Bordiga or Aperol)
- 1/2 oz lime juice
- 1/2 oz egg white
Instructions
- In a shaker with ice, add muddled ginger, ginger simple syrup, rye whiskey, aperitivo, lime juice, and egg white.
- Shake well for 30 seconds.
- Strain the mixture into a Martini glass.
- Top off with powdered cinnamon.
