Ingredients

  • 1 cup cold coffee (8 ounces)
  • 1 cup half & half
  • 1.50 cups good vanilla ice cream
  • 1/4 cup rum, whiskey, and/or vodka
  • 2 tablespoons Kahlua
  • Nutmeg or dark chocolate shavings, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine cold coffee, half & half, vanilla ice cream, rum, whiskey, and/or vodka, and Kahlua in a large bowl.
  2. Whisk the ingredients vigorously until well combined and let the mixture sit for a minute to allow the ice cream to melt.
  3. Pour the mixture into serving glasses and sprinkle the top with nutmeg or dark chocolate shavings.
  4. Optionally, add a floater of rum for an extra kick.
