Ingredients

  • 1.60 oz Malibu(r) Coconut Rum
  • 2.40 oz frozen strawberries (semi thawed)
  • 0.20 cups 7UP(r)
  • 2 oz pineapple juice
  • 1.60 oz cream of coconut
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • fresh pineapple wedges (garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, blend the semi-thawed strawberries, Malibu(r) Coconut Rum, and 7UP(r) until smooth.
  2. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer and set it aside. Clean the blender.
  3. Blend the cream of coconut and pineapple juice until well mixed, then set it aside.
  4. Blend the crushed ice and banana until smooth.
  5. Add the pineapple-coconut mixture to the banana-ice mixture and blend until frothy and smooth, then set it aside.
  6. Fill a glass halfway with the strawberry daiquiri mixture.
  7. Carefully and slowly pour the pina colada mixture into the glass, allowing it to drip down the side and settle at the bottom.
  8. The strawberry rum will rise to the top, creating a beautiful layered effect.
  9. Serve immediately with pineapple wedges.
