A delightful twist on the classic Whiskey Sour, Summer Strawberry Delight combines Jameson Black Barrel whiskey, fresh strawberries, and a touch of lemon, finished with a creamy texture and a beautiful edible flower garnish.
Ingredients
- 1 Edible Flower
- 0.50 oz Egg White
- Ice Cubes
- 1.50 oz Jameson Black Barrel Whiskey
- 0.75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 0.50 oz Strawberry Syrup
Instructions
- Prepare the Fresh Strawberry Syrup: Rinse the strawberries, remove the stems, and slice them. Place the strawberries in a saucepan, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Simmer for 20 minutes, then strain the liquid into another pot. Add sugar, bring to a boil, and simmer for 5 minutes. Allow to cool, then refrigerate.
- In a shaker, combine Jameson Black Barrel whiskey, fresh lemon juice, and strawberry syrup. Dry shake for 30 seconds.
- Add ice cubes and egg white to the shaker. Shake again for 30 seconds.
- Pour into a chilled glass and garnish with an edible flower.
