Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 oz Coco Lopez
  • 3/4 oz orange juice
  • 3/4 oz overproof Jamaican rum (preferably Smith & Cross)
  • 1/2 oz aged Guyanese rum (preferably El Dorado 15-year)
  • 1/4 oz overproof Demerara rum (preferably Lemon Hart 151)

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a mixing tin with 3 Kold-Draft or other 1-inch ice cubes.
  2. Shake briefly, then strain the mixture into a chilled hurricane glass over crushed ice.
  3. Fill the glass to the top with crushed ice.
  4. Garnish with a mint sprig, half an orange wheel, and a thorough dusting of nutmeg.
