Ingredients
- 1 tbsp. butter, softened
- 3/4 tbsp. packed brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. vanilla ice cream, softened
- 1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup apple cider
- 1/4 cup rum
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, beat softened butter and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add softened ice cream and ground cinnamon to the butter mixture, and stir until well combined.
- Spoon the buttered rum batter into a mason jar or resealable container, then place it in the freezer until mostly hardened, for about 2 hours or until ready to serve.
- In a medium saucepan, heat the apple cider until boiling, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the apple cider from heat and pour it into a pitcher or an easy-to-serve container.
- Place about 2 tablespoons of the prepared buttered rum batter into a mug.
- Fill the mug about 1/3 of the way up with rum.
- Top the mug with the hot apple cider, and stir before serving.
